Suppliers in Apple’s supply chain reportedly believe that the company plans to simultaneously announce both a low-cost iPhone along with a premium “iPhone 5S” this June, setting the stage for a July launch.
Rumour Mill: Apple are said to be entering into a closer relationship with Yahoo! within iOS.
Apple moving itself away from Google seems to be picking up pace. With Yahoo! rumoured to becoming involved we can only assume that will mean greater integration with Siri, so the majority of your searches will pull from their services rather than Google, especially on search.
Good or bad? hmm, not quite sure we can comment on that as yet. Google are something to beat in this area so it will be hard. Lets just hope it isn’t another Apple maps fiasco.
This is a broader Apple in the making.

Rumour Mill: iPad 5 front panel has been spotted. Looks much like a larger iPad mini.
This is sort of confirmation that the next generation iPad said to be announced in the first half of 2013 will have aesthetic features much like the iPad mini, with a reduced bezel and much thinner outer casing.
More to follow.

Twitter #music goes live, but via ‘invite only’.
Twitter today launched Twitter music, so it is real. Not quite sure what the service will fully feature as we are yet to obtain an invite in which to test it out.
It is expected to be a way in which you can recommend music that interests you to your followers via your feed - just a fancy way of tweeting about music really. We assume it will have imbedded function within tweets to enable users to listen to tracks directly from the tweet rather than from a link that will take you away from twitter.
We also expect there will be a heavy presence from the artists themselves in order to promote their music. We think it will be much like Ping, the Apple music social network based around iTunes but Twitter’s version will hopefully hang around for longer.
Rumours are also flying about to suggest an iOS app is also ready and is expected to arrive on the App Store imminently.
It seems Twitter is serious about content, after moving into the video capture and editing field with Vine, now it creates a whole new service relating to music.
The Twitter experience is evolving from being a medium in which to broadcast a message of 140 characters.
Stay tuned as a full review of the app and service will follow once it lands and we get access.

Would you merge your phone with your tablet? Samsung believes it has the device you’ve been longing for.
I’ve often wondered if there will ever come a time when one of the big players release a tablet (for argument sake 7 inches and above) that features phone capabilities. That seemed to be becoming a reality when Samsung released its Note range with their ever so huge displays, and not so trendy 80’s look styluses.
Samsung have now gone one step further in size announcing the Mega with screen sizes of 5.8 and 6.3 inches. The devices have adequate specifications for a device of today, much on par with the Samsung Galaxy S four.
My only concern is that, are people ready for such big devices as phones? You will all remember when Apple placed a camera on the iPad 2 and owners were slated and mocked for taking photos with the iPad. Would you find it odd witnessing someone take a call from a 6.5 inch phone?
Of course as demand and perceptions change maybe it will become normal to carry such large devices with you everywhere you go, but it wont be sat resting in your pocket more your rucksack.
I personally consider bigger phones to be the next big thing, I am not an android fan, so the Samsung editions are good but not for me. It goes without saying that Apple are no doubt working on a larger device to fill the size void in their smartphone range. We know that the ‘5S’ will be much like the ‘5’ as it will use the same aluminium casing.
iPhone 6 is tipped at being the ‘all new bigger iPhone’.
If you’re not an Apple fanboy or cannot wait for a larger phone then the Mega, which by the way is only available in Europe, is the one for you.
if you do purchase one, wise words…invest in a bluetooth headset as finding your phone wont be as simple as reaching into your pocket.
